During your free time at the retreat, you may want to take advantage of the abundant outdoor activities available within reasonable driving distance. Quality time spent reconnecting with Mother Earth often encourages deeper relaxation and rejuvenation. There are many clear springs and rivers for swimming, tubing, or kayaking, as well as a wide range of walking and hiking trails for any level of expertise.
Walk (or bike) in the lush forest at San Felasco State Park (5 min drive) or O’leno State Park (20 min drive)
Swim in the crystal clear Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park (20 min drive), Poe Springs Park (15 min drive), Rum Island Springs County Park (20 min drive), or Ichetucknee State Park (North Entrance) (30 min drive). All North Florida spring water temperatures are 72° year round. Swimming in the natural waters is deeply cleansing and rejuvenating (even in the winter).
Climb the stairs down into the geological marvel Devil's Milhopper Sinkhole (20 min drive)
